An enjoyable Launch Trip to Muladi
I have been thinking about where to go for a long time. Meanwhile, suddenly one day Enam Bhai said that he was going on a Launch Trip to Muladi. At first, I was not willing to go. I am not really used to group tours or feel easy. However, after much thought, I agreed. And on the appointed date I boarded the launch with a large group. Where tourmates were 13 to 14 people, and bikes were 6.
Anyways,
Our Launch Trip to Muladi started at 10 pm. We reached Barisal’s Muladi while enjoying the whole night on the launch and enjoying the night river journey. After reaching, went to Muladi Bazar to have breakfast. We had breakfast there with five “Bhorta”. After breakfast, We went to the Haat.
Trouble of the name of Bedouin
Enjoyed everything so far. But We got into trouble with “Bedouin” written on the back of our T-shirt. As we are all wearing the same t-shirt, and on the bike. So it had a good impact on the minds of the local people. They stopped us from place to place, and asked the same question – Brother! What is the meaning of the word Bedouin written on the back of your T-shirt? We were tired of listening to the questions and answering them.
Explore Muladi with the bike
After finishing the market, I went to Enam Bhai’s house. After coming home we all took a dip in the pond. After swimming in the pool for about an hour, we slept with tired bodies. After waking up we all got ready for the bike ride. I bought Sharif Bhai’s Pulsar NS bike. The bike ride was a super combo with the brick-paved wet roads of the village, rows of trees on either side of the main road, and the cloudy environment. After a ride of about 40 km, I returned around 9:30 pm. Unable to bear the pressure of the whole day’s wanderings and the sleepless night of the launch, I took a little sleep. Later, I got up at around 1:30 am and had dinner. Then sleep again.
Fishing in the canal
Everyone woke up a little late in the morning. After waking up and having breakfast, everyone put on Bedouin t-shirts and boarded the engine boat to catch fish in the canal across the river. I got to fish and I had fun in the water. When everyone is resting after having fun back home, it is almost afternoon. Although everyone wanted to go out for a bike ride again in the afternoon. But the rain came and all was dismissed. After Maghrib, seven of us went out on three bikes with Enam Bhai to buy some Sadai pati. An evening bike ride can also be called an adventure ride. I then took Shubhra Bhai’s Apache R.T.R and two more behind me. That means three people on one bike. On top of that, the afternoon rain and night darkness made the brick road even more terrifying.
Dinner with the moon
After returning from the market after buying Sadai Pati, it was our turn to prepare dinner. It was almost ten o’clock at night as we sat cooking on the wood stove in the courtyard. By the time the cooking was finished, it was 2:30 at midnight. After finishing the meal, it was almost 4:00 in the night. It was too late to wake up the next morning. After waking up and finishing breakfast, about six of us along with Enam Bhai left for Muladi Bazar by bike. On my way back from Muladi Bazar, I took a very risky bike ride home in the pouring rain. I came home and saw everyone playing football on the field. I went down to the field. Made a lot of runs, but managed to touch the ball only twice.
Off to Dhaka
As it was time to leave the launch, everyone freshened up and had lunch with the fish caught the day before and came to the Ghat. And released the launch on time. The day of arrival did not sleep on the launch. Spend the night chatting and drinking tea. We got down to the launch ghat early in the morning and returned to the area by bike as it was dawn. And took a long sleep after Fazr prayer.
